AAA Wood
A custom PHP website for Aggelos Adamou & Sons, a family joinery business in Limassol: a photo-led gallery of kitchens, wardrobes and doors that the family can update from a phone.
The challenge
The problemAggelos Adamou & Sons (AAA Wood) is a family joinery business in Ypsonas, Limassol. They make kitchens, wardrobes, doors and furniture to order for homes and businesses across Cyprus. Their previous site ran on WordPress with the Avada theme and eight plugins, and the project photos sat inside page-builder galleries spread over 24 separate pages.
The new site had to keep every existing page address, so that nothing already listed on Google would be lost. It also had to be simple enough for the family to publish a finished job straight from their phones.
Our solution
What we builtWe delivered a full website redesign, built on our own lightweight PHP code instead of WordPress and styled in the company's logo colours. It comes with a simple admin designed for the phone first.
- All 31 existing page addresses kept, with 301 redirects for old WordPress links, an image sitemap and structured data for the business, the galleries and breadcrumbs
- Galleries in 13 categories and 14 sub-categories, with full-screen viewing and a 'more photos' button. Three new categories were added: hotels, commercial spaces and wooden roofs
- Photo uploads straight from a phone, and if the signal drops the upload carries on by itself. Photos are converted to WebP automatically and their location data is removed to protect customers' addresses. Duplicates are rejected, and blurry, dark or overexposed shots are held back until someone approves them
- Sign-in with Face ID or fingerprint (passkeys), and an upload-only role for staff who just add photos
- An appointment form where visitors tick the type of work they need and can attach up to 5 photos or PDF plans. Each request is saved in the admin and emailed to the company
- No cookies or analytics on the public site, and the Google map loads only when a visitor asks for it, so the site runs without a cookie banner
The results
The impactThe new site went live in October 2026 and replaced WordPress completely, with all 31 original page addresses still opening the same pages. The galleries now hold more than 2,700 project photos across 27 categories, alongside 153 melamine colour samples in 8 series. The family can put new work online straight from their phones, and every appointment request reaches both their inbox and the admin.
