The challenge

The problem

PAGEO Marine Underwater Services carries out hull cleaning, underwater welding, inspections, subsea pipeline work and other underwater jobs along the coast of Cyprus. The previous website described six services on a single page in each language, Greek and English. No service had a page of its own that a ship manager, marina operator or port authority could find, read and pass on.

Enquiries also had to include the details a dive team needs to price a job (area, vessel, depth and the work itself), and the site had to look serious and trustworthy on a phone as well as on a desktop.

Our solution

What we built

In September 2026 we rebuilt the site from scratch as lightweight static pages, with hand-written CSS and plain JavaScript, and no page builder or CSS framework. Every service got its own page in both languages. In October 2026 we added a chart of the Cyprus coastline and a quote request form in three steps.

  • 16 service pages in Greek and 16 in English. Each one has an at-a-glance strip, what the work includes, timings and what affects the price, a short FAQ and links to related services
  • A coverage chart of the Cyprus coastline, drawn from OpenStreetMap data, with six areas: Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos, Ayia Napa, Protaras and Vasiliko. Choosing an area opens the quote form with that area already selected
  • A 3-step quote form (what is needed, where, and how to reply) that also asks for the vessel and the depth. The form emails the enquiry to PAGEO and sends the visitor an acknowledgement in Greek or English
  • Click-to-call and WhatsApp on the home and service pages, and the site can be installed on a phone like an app
  • Subtle animations that never loop and respect the visitor's reduced-motion setting, plus mobile fixes so the header fits on small phones
  • Structured data for services, FAQs and breadcrumbs, separate Greek and English URLs, and Google Analytics in consent mode, with no analytics cookies until the visitor accepts

The results

The impact

PAGEO Marine now has a bilingual website of 38 pages: two home pages, two service overviews, 32 service pages and two privacy pages. Greek is the main version and English is at /en/. Each service has its own link that can be sent directly, and in the quote form the service, the area and a description of the job are required fields. We continue to host and maintain the site.
